Tabs Predictions

2014 SC Average: 110

Tabs says: Well down on the 2012, as he only had 13 scores above 100 in SC. He went big a couple of time in SC but still down on the previous year. He seems not too worried to get the tag and doesn't try and lose it, just plays his normal game. The Swans players go out there to do their role and do their role well. If they get tagged out of the game then someone else in the engine room will come along and pick up the slack. He's a no for me in SC but hopefully he comes in at around $500k in SC and then it might be worth to get him in but more of an upgrade target like in DT

Good comment on the tag. Sydney mids seem at ease when tagged and almost accept an average day. Not what u want from a starting midfield premium.
Too many handballs aswell. A bit too one dimensional too consider.
Strange becoz at the end of 2012 I thought he would b a midfield lock for the next five years.

tor01doc

Seems a bit lacking in flair compared to other top mids.

The 'one dimensional' and 'too many handballs' sum it up for me.

Vinny

Yeah he is good player but the kick to handball ratio makes him shower for fantasy. :-\

Ricochet

Had him all year and just when I got frustrated enough to trade him out he'd pump out a nice score. Underpriced in 2014 for what he is capable of but others are just ahead of him for me

Unfortunately yes, HBs too much and his clanger count and effective disposal efficiency is way too low

I might be biased but I think he will bounce back.  Will play 22.

It's not really about bouncing back though, he didn't have a bad season. Still got plenty of the ball he just hand balled it every time. Can't have that

True.

I also heard rumours of him carrying a slight quad injury last year, but who knows.  Also the extra running due to a weakened defence may have reduced his impact a little.  My theory is the Sydney midfield will strengthen this year if their defence become strong again (doing my best not to be biased here)
