The problem and challenge is finding the underpriced and premiums that can deal with a tag. Murphy couldn't before and can't go forward like GAJ, Pendles, Swan etc. Neither can Jack - if you look at his games where he was tagged, output decreased dramatically. Coaches and fantasy coaches both see and use this info. Round 1 - who is Crowley, Curnow, 2-3 Bulldogs going to tag?

Saying Murphy simply "can't" handle the tag is a little rough. He struggles with it. And yeh he isn't the best midfielder in the comp like an Ablett or Pendlebury. But I'm backing him in next year, he's in my side now after being back and fourth. I think he's a gut runner and class player who will learn to deal with it much better.

I'm finding it hard to leave him out, it's either him Rocky or Griffen for me and I don't like the look of my other lines with the latter two. Should at least get 100-105 and make a bit of cash

But is 100 worth it? I had Fyfe this season  for similar price who averaged about 105. Wasn't quite happy with it really. Same with Mundy for those who had him.  I need 110 + or get someone else.   I blame Fyfe's scores on the heavy tag and resulting poor DE. Same goes for Murphy.

I can't see him going under 105 and if he does i doubt it will be by much, Fyfe had only gone 105+ once before last year whereas Murph had 4 consecutive seasons above 110

surely murph goes 105? i have fyfe at the moment

Given his scoring history I would have thought he'd be a very very strong chance to average 110+

Beams has averaged above 110 only once before plus he seems to miss a few games through injury. I've currently got both but I think it's a close call if you're only picking one. Murphy for me.

beams clearly for me have had both in my team at same time at one point tho

I've got both as well, beams isn't as risky as murph, beams could easily get 116 again and I can't see him going under 110
