that is a very weak team imo there you need probably at least 3 guns 110+ each week in each position apart from Rucks
and then 1 mid pricer in both of your forward line and defence
and then you go from there
but the players you do have are good I like picks of Swallow, Darling and Caddy as they are all break out contenders
I haven't heard much on Ricky Henderson but I think he is worth upgrading to someone like Simpson
and then your team would look better
also your rucks look weak but a lot of people are going with that strategy so its not that bad!

My advice;

DEF: Henderson up to Hanley
MID: Cotchin up to J. Selwood
RUCK: This is no good, Sandi risky & certain to be rested, Longer not a big scorer yet. You need 1 x primo Ruck w/out injuries.
FWD: Good, the only player I'd change is Darling. Reason being that my preference for both DEF & FWD players is for DPP MID types who accumulate possessions to score rather than rely on marks/goals.

It's a good start mate, just a few tweaks to 'donut proof' your team and up your scoring potential.  6/10. Good luck!!

I think this is great first up effort.

A few of my thoughts:

First of all, try to leave just a little bit of cash leftover so your team can be as strong as possible.

DEF: Bartel and Mitchell are solid picks but expensive. Not sure about the Ricky Henderson pick as it's unclear what sort of role he will play this year. I would go for a safer pick like Hanley, S Thompson, Hibberd, Simpson or Birchall. Swallow could easily have a breakout year and average in the high 90's. Suckling is great value and too good to ignore if named round 1. I reckon you could save some cash by choosing one of Kolo and McDonald and then downgrading the other to a cheaper rookie. Cutler is a chance to play round 1 from what I've heard.

MID: I like all the picks but no Ablett is very risky. I would try to bring him in for Rocky or Cotchin. I also think that you could save some cash here by downgrading one or two of Tyson, Michie or Sheed to cheaper rookies.

RUC: I like the Sandilands pick but I think if you are going with him then you should go for a safer option than Longer. He may not even be the number 1 ruck at the Saints this year. Lobbe was outstanding as the number 1 ruck towards the back end of Port's season so he looks to be a good value pick. Obviously you will need to find the cash to do the upgrade.

FWD: A bit weak here so what I would do is bank up some cash by downgrading the players I suggested and then turn Caddy into a definite keeper. Buddy looks as though he is a great option this year at a new club. He should get back to averaging 100. Danger and Dusty are great picks. Darling and the Eagles have a great early draw so he is a good choice for a starting side and M Clark is great value so hopefully he lines up round 1.

Basically exactly the same as Ben said mate.

Your structure in defence is sound, 5 premium/mid priced players which I like, and all good choices apart from Henderson (Not at D3).

Like your Mids, but as Ben said try to get Ablett in their if possible - He is a must, as much as Mark will try to tell you otherwise ;)

Rucks are a little weak, would like to see a premium in there - Whether that be Naitanui, Leuenberger, Mcevoy, Maric, Goldstein, Minson etc.

Forwards like good! As others have said try to get another definite keeper in there then go from there. Really good mid priced choices.

Defence looks pretty good
Mids look good
Rucks needs a bit of tinkering, Longer probably isn't a goop option at R2, best to get a reliable premium ruck such as Goldstein or Minson in there
Not convinced on Darling, maybe bring in Pavlich instead

Would use some of that spare money to upgrade your rucks. If you can't afford one of Minson/Goldy, perhaps NicNat or Leuenberger would be good choices. I am starting Leuey myself, think he'll go even better this year.

I think you've got yourself a good starting point here. Agree with others that more of your remaining cash should be spent, I actually don't mind the defense at all for a couple of smokeys in Hendo and Swallow, But Darling at F3 is a very weak line.
I also don't mind Sandi/Longer, as Longer should play and go up in price - the risk is that Sandi might break down early so you would be looking at 2 rucks to trade for keepers. A lot of people will take the risk of Sandi because if he stays right he's a cheap keeper and is virtually guaranteed to go up in price, but in Longer you're virtually guatanteed to be spending a trade, and losing points over a premo like Goldy/Minson. So you need to make sure you're making up those points somewhere.

Its good to see new people on here so i will help you as much as i can and also give you a rating.
Def: I am concerned with the following players Bartel because he may play up forward this year, Henderson because he can be inconsistent and produce enough high scores.
Mids: No Problems here
Rucks would certainly upgrade Longer with someone like Leuey
Fwds: Maybe replace Darling with Pavlich

There are only minor changers needed here for this team to become strong one is in the Ruck the other is at D3. The advantage you have is the money you haven't used i think you need to use most of this to get the players you need. i give it a 7/10

DEF D1 & D2 are perfect. Love the Hendo pick, he'll improve. suckling to improve.
MID Pendles is a GUN, Rocky/Cotchin should improve. Beams/Daisy to improve.
RUC tad bit weak, Sandi Bargain.
FWD SUPER strong. Dusty to move to DEF, Caddy to the Midfield should improve. Darling to improve with WCE early games.
