North Melbourne continues to roll out the key announcements with All-Australian full back Scott Thompson the latest player to sign a contract extension.

Already locked away for 2014, the defender recently gave the nod to another three years, taking him through until the end of the 2017 season.

dont know what he is on but he is underpaid whatever it is. finally getting some respect but i put him up there with the best of them. Would say he is our second most important player, just behind goldy.

Same feeling as the start of 1994, with a young team on the up.  1974 was also the start of something big, so cant wait for 2014.  Perhaps another 2 flags for us in this present decade.
