Fight to bring back old Lion Jumper

A supporters group is putting pressure on the club to negotiate with members to consult over Jumper change.  Really gaining momentum at the moment and looking to challenge at AGM.

What are your thoughts.

Personally I was disgusted that Jumper was changed with no consultation of members whatsoever. And this paddlepop Lion is a joke and imo has contributed to our loss of pride.  Interestingly we wore the previous Jumper when we beat Essendon and will wear again on Friday night.

Would really like to see consultation take place on change of Jumper - Port and Dogs have shown what happens when all are involved.

Yes this is what is needed. The new jumper is absolute shower and bring back the old one. Shows some pride and actually means something to supporters. Shows our origins with the Fitzroy Lions not the Paddlepop Lions.

100% agree, the new jumper love it or hate it has absolutely no purpose, no benefit.

could hold a lot more Melbourne based supporters you would think with a more traditional jumper ?

Lions fans will support them regardless of the guernsey as will QLD kids - so all the change does you would think is put existing and "old school" supporters off side...?

I'm not a Lions supporter, but I like the current one.  :-X

Been a bone of contention since they changed from the Fitzroy Lion.

Has been an underlying current for a while and will be interesting to see the verdict on the survey.

I prefer the old one myself tbh as it is a traditional part of the Fitzroy Guernsey.

i'm undecided but think they need to make the lion a wee bit bigger on the older jersey, just a bit small
