MELBOURNEs great forward hope Jesse Hogan has sent a scare through Demons ranks after going off with a knee injury in the opening minutes of the Casey v Bendigo VFL match on Saturday.

Playing for Melbournes VFL affiliate Casey, Hogan hyperextended his knee about five minutes into Saturdays game.

A Melbourne spokesman told AFL.com.au the extent of Hogans injury would not be clear until he had scans on Saturday afternoon.
