Me vs Him....where do I trade?

In a spot of bother with how to use my trades this week, opponent traded overnight so need some advice on how to match him.
Head to head I think he has me covered comfortably.
I have 4 trades and 9K!

We both have Staker on the field and I have Clisby as a emerg for Vlaustin.

I assume this is Andrew Swallow that you have. Gotta double trade IMO. Don't know what downgrade options you have and who your mids are, but you'd want to generate about 150k to get a Swan/Pendles/Griffen/Barlow/Jack etc.

Post your full team mate, other wise its impossible to see who you have/dont have fyfe a good unique and not to expensive

Yes it's Andrew Swallow.

Both myself and opponent have GAJ, Swan, Pendlebury, Selwood and JPK in the middle.
Was thinking Griffen or even Fyfe who is 70k cheaper.
If I was to go Griffen would I match up ok with him?
I feel that having Vlaustin on the field might cost me some serious points.

Exluding Swallow vs Walker, I'd say you have him covered by about 10 points. So bringing in any super premo should win it for you. In saying that, there's a big difference between how well a player should do on paper, and how he actually goes. Griffen is a good choice.

I'm liking Griffen at the moment, proven scorer! Just a bit worried about the Curnow tag.

Then next week you could trade either Buddy or Swallow out.

So Buddy > Walker or Swallow > Defender of your choice. ( Moving Vlas to the mids bench.
