Trading nicholls out, and this is for my R1 spot. Luey is my other ruckman, and this will send mcevoy to the bench to be an emergency. Can afford either with quite a bit left over so the money is not a huge issue.

Minson: Avg. 90.5 from 17 games

-Plays as a lone ruck (bar tom campbell, who mostly plays forward anyway)
-Has been consistent all year in that he has always been first ruckman
-Plays Swans, blues, crows, Lions and melbourne for the rest of the season
-While $$$$ arent a big issue, its always nice to have the extra 40k up the sleeve

Kreuzer: Avg. 88.7 from 14 games
-Taking out his games where he has played more forward or defence (wth mick?) than ruck he averages a nice 103.
-Unfortunately has played forward and defence at times
-Has robbie warnock waiting in the wings who mick might think could be useful
-Plays Freo, Dogs, RTigers, Bombers and Power for the rest of the season

So basically, what does everyone think?

Ziplock

take out the game he got injured and his return game and he has a solid average :P

Been consistent and his coming opponents don't really have any stand-out ruckman that he will struggle against. Melbourne in the last game will be good for you if your in a league GF (if you care about league). Surprisingly that extra but of cash could be very handy for you.

That average looks good but you can't just "Take out scores". At the end of the day those scores show you that he is prone to playing those roles and scoring poorly, all part of the package.

Sandilands is always a challenge but really like Minno not much that will trouble him from those games.

Definitely the In-form ruckman of the competition but also very injury prone.

Kruze going at 12.7% ownership and Minson at just under 5%. Kreuzer is safe in the way that is he goes down you won't be alone whereas if Minson goes down (which is more unlikely) then you are on your own.

I'd take Minson.

Haha I'm bringing in one of these guys as well, which pushes McEvoy to the bench for me also. :)

Only I'm considering Roughy to make it Minson vs Kruez vs Roughy. I'm actually leaning towards Roughy, but Minson is tempting me now...

Yeah, I like him. His scores are a little worrying though considering he has kicked 3.3 and 4.0 the last two weeks but could still only manage a couple of 79s... :-\

But he'll want the Coleman and should score well for the rest of the season.

PlotsnPlans

I'm going Minson to join Goldstein. McEvoy to the bench.

Added Roughhead to the poll.

I get that, its the change in role though. He does seem to have it all to himself these days, hence the change in scoring. It's like henderson in a sense.

Kruze last 8 has been 119, 101, 88, 105, 103, 96, 107 and 94. Delicious.

Minson is good but I'd prefer Kruze, I'm trading him in and I reckon you should too.

thanme

pommyadam

not Cox over either of those?

would personally go for Minson, Kreuzer's record vs Freo (or Sandi) isn't good (at all)

This is true, but watching Sandilands this year he is nowhere near his best like he has been previously. Kreuzer may not win a lot of hitouts, but could easily run him off his legs. Zac Clarke may be the other way round, in that he may end up earning more from hitouts vs him.

And while it is generally an indicator, he had a poor record vs Kangaroos, and then came out and smashed a 107. Whilst it wasnt as poor as his record v freo, does provide an indication that he is better this year.

I still cant split them but  :)

pommyadam

think it depends on your goals

Kruezer (other than this weekend) will score more points
Minson plays the Dees in rd23 (or GF day) - which could prove the difference if you're going for league

BT

Really strong arguments for both. At this stage I'll probably go Kreuzer.

Thanks to all for comments and votes, cheers for all!
