McLeod was stiff to miss out but his very best football was in the late 90's.

Most of these lists don't have Buckley on them! Sure, only played 6-7 years from 2000, but the guy won a Brownlow, a Norm Smith and captained a team without stars (except himself) to 2 Grand Finals.

I think Meow has summed it up very well. The only one he is missing is Dustin Fletcher whose best football has been played in this century, I would have him in a top 15 somewhere.

True! Almost worth separating it into positions, otherwise midfielders tend to dominate
