Trade for Top 4 ?

Hey fellas.

I have a tough game this week against second in the league and I'm not confident on a win but if I do win. I make Top 4.

Say I was to trade to help my chances. What would you do?

3 trades and 11k

R- Goldy Nicholls.  Witts Moller.

Ouch that back line hurts but the demons could do well this week so rely on them.
Sell Nicholls, Move Cox in to the ruck and choose a froward. Can you make Rioli?

It's your def that needs work and the best you can do now with only 3 trades and 11 k   is a sideways on Hanley who may be back for finals. If your team is right you can win from any position in the 8. There's no point to having the double chance with a no-chance team. I reckon sit it out for a week. Hope I'm right and you do well. Not too keen on trading Hanley but we'll see.

Your lack of funds makes Nicholls to a forward (via Cox to R1) problematic -> $412000ish gives you little in terms of inspirational players.

I think I would sit, look at a double trade next week to win your first final and then keep one for emergency.

To get value this week you'd have to double trade - sell Nicholls and another mid type for a premium and a bargain. I'd only do that if I had to in order to make finals.

Top 4 - not a must win IMO.

With only 3 trades and Clisby, Mitchell, Nicholls in your on field 22, at least one will have to become a keeper. That cannot be Clisby, so look to upgrade him soon. Low BE this week so he'll rise. If he rises a lot, you might just be able to get Stokes if he drops a bit with his higher BE.

I would also hold Vinny and then next week look at your opponents team and then double trade if necessary to ensure win.
Not necessary to finish in Top 4 though it has the second chance.

Look at the league games this week, try and predict what the results and subsequent final ladder will be for 1st round of finals. This way you can start planning what POD's you may need week 1 of finals to get the win
