GOODES - McKenzie/Ibbotson
*Has to go being out for the remainder of the season. Could swing him FWD with Staker and look at Riewoldt.N or Lewis/Rioli.

NAITANUI - Maric
*Limited funds so Maric is the only viable option here. Happy to use Nicholls or could swing him FWD with Cox and look again at the FWD options above.

HANLEY - ???
*Happy to sit on him for the week and play Clisby. Malceski and Enright available at this price.

MACAFFER - Daniher
*Is this necessary before he leaks more $$$ or is it worth having him as a semi-reliable bench player for the remainder of the year? Could use the money to look at a more reliable option for Goodes and Nic Nat in DEF, RUCK & FWD.

Thoughts would be greatly appreciated...I'm at a loss!  :-\

Where do you sit in the ladder?

You have a good team and many trades available.

Goodes trades to Mckenzie or Ibbotson is a good idea.

I would wait on the ruck option (Cox or Nicholls for the moment) until you have freed up some cash.

Hanley sitting ok

Macaffer > Daniher. Interesting. You may not lose many more dollars through leakage however Danihers price will rise maybe $50K. Will he continue to gain selection? ( Good $$$ to put in the bank though)

Boneman I think you have to make your trades based of bringing in either a keeper or the most cash possible. Daniher is only cash relevant if you trade him out again, which is probably unlikely give the number of trades you have. So instead look at him as a 150k rookie who may or may not get further games... Not sure he's worth grabbing to be honest.

Like your options for Goodes, I would choose a defender myself but the staker swing is perfectly valid too, just not sure I trust any of those options in the forwards. NicNat to Maric is about as sideways as they come, neither has particularly amazed so that's not worth it. I would look instead at making cash somewhere - my suggestion would be Gawn. trade him to a 96k rookie who will never play, makes you a sweet 230k profit. Then next week NicNat to Roughead allows you to keep the R/F swing with Cox, Leaving you 4 trades and about 200k with a pretty decent looking team...

I see what you mean but at this stage bench cover should really be sorted, now if you need money you start taking risks on positions you don't plan to need (like that pesky R4 - when has he ever done anything for anyone?). My strategy has geared towards having rock bottom price players in positions I can cover with DPP and 1 bench player. (R/F, M/F swingmen mean your R4/F8 can be 96k players to maximise your bank account)

Wow! The response has been fantastic...thank you all!  ;D

The ladder positions are interesting, sitting in the top 4 in most but a couple of the main leagues I am in are ranked just over the top 100! So as you can imagine the points spread is pretty close and with 2 rounds to go will need to definately win 1 of the remaining games.

Agree on DANIHER as his JS is questionable at best and Macaffer has proved to be handy (although scores in the 30's-40's are not ideal). He is set to lose around $15k so sitting at $300k after this round, all is not lost and then he may start to generate some more $$$ again.
DELL'OLIO is too expensive...I would be hesitant to pay $150k for Daniher. I like the GAWN - $96k idea to free up some $$$, maybe I can hold on Nic Nat this week and pull that trigger next week. Roughead may drop another $10k in this time.

So the only real question is trade:

(DEF) Goodes - McKenzie/Ibbotson

(FWD) Goodes (switch with Staker) - Riewoldt.N/Rioli
