Now that you have clarified I would favour option 1.

You will have the option of playing Murphy or Mitchell at M8.  You still have 4 trades left and can upgrade Mitchell when he peaks to another prem if not happy with Murphy.  Griffen imo is a virtual must now if you are to compete in Leagues. Dogs play Dees in the GF so Griff may go big and could be the difference between winning and losing.

martin is a sound upgrade but if looking for a POD I would look at Chris Mayne from Freo.  Freo have a juicy draw. Petrie and harvey from North may be other PODS.  If you wait a week I would also consider Bartel he would have had his rest.
