at this point in the season with everyone's team pretty much locked,
i personally have 6 premo backs 8premo mids + titch 2premo rucks + nicholls and 7 premo fwds, but only about 50k in the bank

is it worth trading those end of bench blokes who are dead weight (like thurlow, hithcock, neade, martin, daw etc.) to some 89k blokes to make a bit of dosh just incase injuries strike and we have to make snap trades???

Absolutely. If your team is full then get the cheapies in. You have good cover for a late out but you have the trades there to trade a prem out each week if they are out.

I'd be having good cover on all lines including D8,F8 and M10 you never know what will happen during DT finals you may be in a situation that 2 trades won't cover
R4 however is usually not needed and if something happens and you need to trade in your rucks you can if you have decent cover on your other lines if other problems arise at the same time.

Yep exactly right LF I agree. Mid back and forward all have a decent number of players that you need to play each week. If shower hits the fan you want to have decent cover. My emergencys are (after trades)

Crouch /Hrovat

Bartel(this week) and Staker.
