i would say boomer, cant see gibbs having a captains knock, boomer may have a big one, could have a big influence on the game and score well if they win.

gibbs has always had run with roles all his carreer....

thought mick touted him to step up to a genuine midfield on ball role this season.

apparently the guy is just a tagger nothing more, never going to be allowed to be a premium ball winning mid.

i would look for a new club if i was him - total waste of talent.

agree GWS would be good for him :)

and pikla, i think you are close to right, i think mick needs him to get serious about becoming more defensive and being a "both ways" midfielder.

when he gets to the required level defensively he will be set free and i think will be one of the very best.

but frustrating waiting for a #1 draft pick star to stop flowering around and reach his potential already - or be allowed to ....

I put Gibbs on the bench as emergency with Staker on field. So far so good.

good call, i had a feeling he would be average v north but not this bad, and i certainly started him on field.... sigh
