Hey guys would love some advice for the run in, in particular this weeks trades.

Thurlow / Saunder to Oxley ( DPP with Staker )
Jacobs to Goldy / Minson

Yes but if Saunders and Thurlow are out. As they are most weeks or Saunders gets sub.

Who you going to swing from the midfield ?

Going Oxley lets you bring Staker back if needed.

Thought Saunders was DPP fwd but is DPP mid...so I'd trade Saunders. Move Staker back. Trade Jacobs. Move Roughy to rucks. Get Walker fwd and McBean for DPP link.... strengthens rucks, fwds and def with 2 trades.

Yeah your team looks good for 7 trades left. Your best bet is getting some dpp links. Mcbean in the ruck could be valuable for roughhead/cox. But getting Oxley in the back is prob your best bet.
Also you could upgrade some premos you may not be happy with. Like Hartlett to McKenzie. Jacobs to Goldy/Minson. Or trading out Franklin even? Apparently he's out again

Waiting for Nicholls to hit his peak to trade help with the $$$ for Jacobs to Goldy, im hoping that will give me sufficient funds to complete my midfield as well, it should. That would leave 4 trades to bring in stevie j & for injuries

Yep Saunders or Thurlow to either oxleys or x Richards.. Considering that this week..staker scoring very nicely plus get some cash

Yeh it makes sense to do thurlow, worth more & Saunders is still playing. Next week i may have the cash to do Jacobs & JJK/Franklin to Stevie J & Goldie/Minson. I'll have 4 trades with Tom Mitchell to upgrade.

This may have been okay a few weeks ago, however it's really to late in the season in my opinion to be trading a once called 'premium' to a non playing rookie. Him and currie won't be making any cash so it's a bit of a waste to trade them again in a few weeks.

The only reson I would do it if I upgraded one of my fowrds to a ruck, however you don't have good enough cover if you get rid of staker...

I don't think you quite understand the purpose of the trade. I'm playing Nichols ahead of Jacobs anyway, and it allows the dpp with roughead, so essentially Staker (who will stay in my side all year, barring injury) is my number one cover for the defense, fowards & rucks. With either Mitchell or Crouch as cover for the mids. the trade will also make me 300k & there's not time to bring players in and expect them to make the cash anyway so your second point regarding him and currie is irrelevant

I understand it fully. All I'm saying is from what you said about trading Jacobs>McBean and playing Nicholls for a few weeks before eventually upgrading to Minson/Goldy is a bit of a waste in my book.
