Gold Coast veteran Nathan Bock has signaled a return to senior football is imminent after a nine-goal haul in the Suns' reserves side on Saturday.

Bock has not played senior football since suffering a broken leg against Fremantle in round six last season.

But a run of solid reserves games, capped by Saturday's standout effort, has Bock primed for a place back in the Suns' team.

I thought he was ordinary even though he kicked 9 lol. Watching it live, I thought he got like 5 which included handpasses over the top and free's. But he should be back.
