Absolutely lost... HELP!

Hey guys.
Current situation is 7 trades and 230K saved up.

My Team
Goddard, Hartlett, Shaw, Gibbs, Ibbotson, Staker (Docherty, Thurlow)
Pendles, Ablett, Swan, Danger, JPK, Priddis, Mundy, Mitchell (Watson, Hrovat)
Leuey, Minson (Nicholls, Rowe)
Cox, Martin, Roughy, JJK, Buddy, NicNat (Bennedy, Daniher)

Original Plan
Trade out Leuey (Goldy), Priddis (Griffen), Staker (Hanley) & Buddy (SJ) before finals. All on the backburner now.

Concerns Now - Please HELP
Watson - was going to hold him but with Ablett a possible out, I cant afford it. Selwood, Jack, Barlow or Griffen???
Buddy and NicNat - I wanted to get rid of Spuddy this week for SJ but with NicNat apparently strugging I don't know what to do. Bennedy & Daniher aren't giving me any bench cover.

Thoughts??

I would go -
Thurlow > Hanley
Watson > KJack

Hanley is a must at his price and Jack is super consistent and very reliable.

As for those luxuries you mentioned - I would not do any of them until finals time.

With 5 trades left - I would just sit tight and hope for the best.

Eventually upgrade Mitchell.

Thanks Vinny... awesome advice and to be honest I will probably take it (with 1K to spare!).
If I trade out Watson, Mitchell will be on my bench so no need to upgrade in future.

My only concern would be my poor bench cover in forward line considering NicNat possible injury.

A part of me says to go:
Thurlow > Hanley
Bennedy > DEF/FWD rookie (makes 100k and allows me to move around Staker). Does burn a trade though doing this and Watson stays on bench for an extra week.

Hmm - I think you should go with the original plan as there are no real outstanding rookies up forward if any at all.

Once you have done those trades you will have 5 left. If your lucky with injuries in Rd 18 or 19.

Trade Bennedy or Daniher to Oxley creating the DPP with Staker. Allowing Staker to cover up forward too.

By then Docherty should be back too. Just gotta hope Vossy may give him some games :P

Griffen in for Watson is the best single trade for your team I reckon.

The rest can wait assuming selections go your way.

You will make enough money to cover Hanley's rise if you wait a week.

Bennedy to M10 into Hrovat's spot in due course will give you M/F DPP.

When Bennedy moves forward get Oxley to compliment Staker.

No rush on the others.

Interesting thoughts there tor... Doesn't matter about Griffen's massive BE?

So I am pretty much tossing up between:
A) Thurlow > Hanley
Watson > K.  Jack/Selwood
Staker to bench

B) Watson > Griffen
Staker starts
80K left in the bank

Perhaps if you go Watson to Stevie J it may give you flexibility of choice. i.e.  If Nicnat is out you can change S J with B Kennedy. It also gives you the option of trading out Leuey replacing him with Nicnat and then Nicnat with SJ and then bring in Griffin. At least it may give you this option coz as yet I've never traded with that many swaps. Reckon both Vinney and Doctor no.1 are both right about Griffin. Like the Doc says he is a must and of course as Vinney pointed out his price should drop because of his high BE. Very nice team mate and the best of luck.

Yep, I would go Thurlow to Hanley and Watson to Stevie J. Great advice by Sabretooth.

Griffen would look nice in that team, but with high BE you can afford to wait. Buddy to Griffen by moving SJ forward could be an option.

Cant afford both Hanley and SJ mate. It will have to be one or the other.

At the moment I am thinking I can bring in Griffen later as his price falls and as Hrovat goes up.

So at the moment I am tossed up between:
a) Hanley (Thurlow) & Jack/Selwood (Watson) - may bring in Griffen later on for Priddis.
b) SJ (Watson) - allows for Mid/Fwd DPP and this will allow me to bring in Griffen later on by getting rid of Spuddy (can bring Oxley in then too for Def/Fwd DPP)

Thoughts on those two?
