This is my current team, I'm in a pretty terrible situation after some stupid decisions at the start of the year but I have worked out some sort of trade plan to try bring it back on track.

D- Birchall, Gibbs, Goddard, Goodes, Staker, Docherty ( Thurlow, Wilson )
M- Ablett, JPK, Swan, Cotchin, Selwood, O'Meara, Kmartin, TMitchell ( Colq , Hrovat )
R- Cox, Goldstein ( Witts, Nicholls )
F- JJK, Zorko, Franklin, Rockliff, Stevie J, Naitanui ( Daniher, Garner )

11 Trades - $156,400 left

Rd 14-
Birchall > Ibbotson
Thurlow/Docherty  > Clisby ( Depends on who is named. )
$196,200 left

Rd 15-
O'Meara > Watson
Docherty > Hunter
$173,290 left

Rd 16-
Staker > Hanley
Martin > Murphy ( If his back or hold until he is or other cheap premo. )

This will leave me with-

Leaves me with Mitchell at M8 and Wilson who must be dealt with at D6.
Not the greatest team but the best I can probably do thanks to my stupid decisions.

I would also consider Hibberd, you'd save 20k.

Watson should have dropped a bit more by the time you bring him in, as should Hanley so they will be perfect timing. Just be wary of Hanley. Voss has been playing him forward to break tags and his scores are suffering from it

Yes that's true, Vossy is being a pain but hopefully he regains his common sense or I may look elsewhere. In saying that, Hanley's price will be tempting.

If Thurlow plays (I'm hoping too) you could get a free look at Hanley and see if he can get over 90 and let him drop a bit more.omeara should keep scoring well but he will probably run out stern soon.just realised you are still running 3 rooks in the mids..may almost have to keep one of omeara or tmitch..depending on what happens with the defence.still in double figure trades wish I was still!

You can either go rock bottom price premos or the trades you plan seem ok if all falls into place

Re ibbo have you considered duff as a cheaper premo? Ibbo is scoring well but in sure some teams may start clamping down on him

As for Duffman, I was considering it but he has a three round average off 77 whilst Ibbo's is 104. So I may stick with Ibbo.

No bother.with ibbo just thinking we may have missed his good scores? Just a thought with duff..reckon he may bounce back..prob not this week with geelong at Kardinia.just not sure ibbo will have a big one..ill be wrong though!

Haha you could be right ! I have been pretty unlucky this year with bringing premos in. Oh well just gotta sit tight and pray it works.

Have you considered hanley over Ibbotson? save you a shower load of cash initially. Then could let Duffield drop a bit more and pick him up round 16? That's what I'm doing. A price drop from Ibbotson would be inevitable too so you could maybe pick him up later instead

Also would be wary of Watson in light of all the drug stuff.. With the extra cash from hanley you might even be able to afford Griffen?

Hmm it's a tough situation.

I was thinking pick Ibbo up now and Hanley in round 16 for Staker who will have almost maxed in price.

With Watson, I reckon that if him and his club are punished. The penalties would be put in place next season. It is too far into the season. I reckon Griffin is in great form but I may pick up Pendles then.

Is there any way you can get Pendles in instead of Murphy? Or Watson? Surely Pendles is the next super-premo after GAJ? Just a suggestion  :)

Yeah I have changed my plans a bit to allow me to get Pendles.
Also deciding to stick with Ibbo.
