Ok so on the one hand if I get Watson and Shaw, I miss out on getting Swan at his lowest price in a while, plus he plays Port this week who he dominates. On the other hand, I really want Shaw as a part of my end team, and this trade will complete my backline. Which combo should I go with? Please, every vote counts!
My current mids: Ablett, Pendles, Griffen, Danger, Barlow, Kennedy, VLASTUIN, Mitchell (Martin, Viney)
My current backs: Goddard, Gibbs, Hanley, Hartlett, Ellis, BIRCHALL (Thurlow, Wilson)

roo boys!

Swan and Heppell IMO

Swan almost a must, got him three weeks back for two high 140s, he looks in ripper form with an easy run.

Obviously Shaw has the same run but I'd still be hesitant of him missing games.

Watson and Shaw just mate. Watson has something to prove now, and i feel is ready to explode. Heater is the best current defender and if you can afford him get him in.
Heppell butchers the ball too often for good SC scores, and Swan has a hard last few weeks.

Swan 118 + Heppell 97 vs Watson 116 + Heater 107 based on current averages*

Watson and Heater by a good 5-10 points per game mate.

Yeah cheers guys, both great points haha. The other option is to get Ibbotson instead of Heppell with swan. What are your thoughts?

roo boys!

Heppell's midfield time is tempting I think really.

Ibbo has the advantage of not really being taggable as from what I've seen the majority of his points come from intercept marking but correct me if I'm wrong, haven't watched a lot of Freo.

Hey mate, I would personally go swan and Ibbotson ! Good luck

Bluesalltheway

The thing with Ibbotson is he plays really well at Pattersons, but shocking away from it. Therefore, he is prone to inconsistency.

I wouldn't say inconsistent ! He seems to rack up a fair amount of the ball and plus their finals draw is amazing

No you are correct on all fronts mate! Heppell is tempting and I have him in my side, but for the amount of flashy ball work he does do, and the amount of disposals of the ball he does have it doesn't usually reflect in his SC scoring, which is highly disappointing as he is very much a 80-100 player.
He has to have a lot of touches, get a few goals or for the game be a low fantasy scoring game for him to normally get over a ton, which is frustrating.

Yes Ibbo does get a lot of his points through intercept marking and he is always loose behind the ball from what I've watched. He isn't the rebounding half backman which means he is difficult to tag. Based on his run home and him being a big a POD I would maybe think about him over Heppell. It is a risk, but a good one I think.

Could also go the other way. He may fall in a heap with so much pressure out side footy happening. I am wondering if he will be booed at Paterson Stadium on Thursday night.

Yeah if you tossed up Ibbo instead of Heppell I would've chosen that I reckon.
It's close, very close, but Ibbo's draw is tasty and he is averaging well. 103 in fact. Swan will average 120+ for the rest of the year IMO.
