Trading Vlastuin out, due to injury and B/E, but who for ?

Garrick Ibbotson (FREMANTLE)
12 (40%)
Trent McKenzie (GC)
3 (10%)
Jack Hombsch (PORT)
2 (6.7%)
Dyson Heppell (ESS)
13 (43.3%)

I'm thinking between Ibbotson and McKenzie, with McKenzie just in front due to being 30k cheaper and a marginally easier run home.

However Hombsch is averaging a healthy 105 and only costing 400k..

Thoughts ?

Current Backline is:

Gibbs, Goddard, Hibberd, Birchall, Vlastuin, Goodes (Clisby, Thurlow)

Hanley. Ibbotson would be okay, but Hanley is cheaper and he will turn around. Hombsch is a big no... I don't trust him at all.

going on form i'd say ibbotson. easy finals draw and gets a lot of ball. tossing up between him and gibbs myself. mckenzie is a good pod but doesn't have a ceiling as high as ibbo.

agreed, Hanley is cheaper and got a decent run from Rnd 17... should rack up some good points.

plus you'll never know what FURL will do with that team.

Yeh agree with the others. Hanley. I just dont trust Hombsh and Mckenzie yet. Hanley much cheaper than Ibo aswell.

I think OP didn't give Hanley as an option because he'd be better to pick up for Goodes in one or two mores weeks when he's completely bottomed out..

Heppel or Ibbotson.

Hanley started off the year on fire and i think alot of opposition coaches took notice of this and he is not getting the tag. I think he'll be like Hartlett that he will struggle with the tag and also voss is playing him out of posiiton.

Heppel has always been an accumulator and wont get tagged.

Ibbotson plays for a strong team, and good run home. Still underrated
