Who to Trade for Gibbs?

I have traded out Barlow for Jelwood and have enough cash for Gibbs, but I am unsure on which of the two to trade out.

Who would you trade out?

Do you think I have gone too early on Barlow?

edit: just read what you wrote. waaaaaay too early on barlow. keep if he's anything under 5-6wks.

I'd wait on Barlow mate, especially if it comes up alright and he only misses out on 2-3 weeks. Trades are precious at this time of year, and he has a great run of teams coming up. Depending on your midfield setup, I'd say Tom Mitchell could fill the void while he's out.

If you don't do the a Barlow trade how much do you have leftover? Anywhere else you could do a downgrade to get in Gibbs?

Unlike a few others on here I'm not convinced trading Vlas is the right answer. I've watched him a few times and the kid is all class. Worst case he would be good bench cover - If you could downgrade someone else like "Caff", "Kerridge" or "Crouch" - One of those types I'd look at that first.

Terlich to Daniher (via Staker) then Vlastuin to Gibbs?

I prefer keeping Goodes because he is a mature body; yes, Vlastuin is probably the more classy, but you need someone who won't completely hit the wall.

Will leave you $150k or so in the kitty for your next move as well.

Totally agree. Then the next move would be to upgrade O'Meara to a premium or sub Cox to forwards and get Goldy in for Monfries.
