and to make things slightly more awkward, we play the Lions in the GF of the NEAFL this weekend as well.

ATM the swans cant have Jetta and Rohan in the same team as they are not completely match fit. LRT played in the 2s last weekend as well but im sure he wont be risked

Poor Marty!! :(

Mitch managed to at least string enough good games together to win a Premiership. He contributed pretty well end of last year. Not quite Nick Davis heroics, but pretty good!

Morton is and was depth ...

I think Sydney play fairly well w/out Tippett but he's been a decent addition.
Mitchell being replaced by McGlynn doesn't lose you much at all imo ...

anyway, I'm over in Perth and it's like frickin 2006 all over again except this time it's all 'Purple' ...

i wore a purple shirt and tie by accident this morning and everyone's like, "Go Freo!" to me at work and I keep telling everyone, "I'm a Swans supporter" ...  ;)

i think the media have been using subliminal messaging and just got into my subconscious and made me wear purple today ...  :o   ;)

will be tough for the bloods tomorrow and as much as I want to be optimistic i think even if we get over Freo tomorrow night, i fear we'd get smashed in a GF next week ... but! one week at a time, let's not get ahead of ourselves (cf Eddie McGuire re rugby union test at Subiaco oval)    ;)

Mate, watching Jude and Hanners on the footy show last night, I am getting more and more confident we can beat the dockers. The issue for us might be the weather, gonna be shower. The run and stun with Jetta, Rohan and Cunners wont be as effective.

Saw McGlynn in the pub this lunchtime....happy to report that he wasn't drinking and was tucking away some carbs....so I am guessing he defo good to go.
