BEN MCEVOY????

what you guys think about starting Ben Mcevoy as my 2nd ruckman? i think he will play weekly and kick king out going by the nab games i've seen id like to hear what others have to say on the matter thanks!!!

i don't think he will be a weekly starter at the beginning of the year. king and gardiner still ahead of him. maybe an option for next year.

if one of them go down or he gets more faith in him, would get on him then.

he played 8 games last yr average 65 he has played well in the nab cup so far i think he has improved over the summer and mite just b in the saints best 22 ahead or king please help me out i would love ur opinion on the topic thanks

McEvoy is very tasty but just way too risky.  There are too many ruckman at the Saints, and if Gardiner and King are fit, they'd surely go ahead due to experience. 

you could have him as your 2nd ruck, Tippett in the FWD line and Lobbe on the bench in the ruck.  Then if Mcevoy gets dropped shift Tippett into the Ruck and Lobbe into the FWD line bench.

i also have warnock and skipper on the bench 4 my rucksand i think if mcevo can play the first 5 or 6 games he will make me a heap of money and then i can upgrade him!!

i havnt seen gardner yet this pre season is he injured?

mcevoy i have been hearing might slip infront of gardiner. if this is the case, worthy of consideration.

its a risk that i think i'll willing to take cause i think he is a good player that can score some dt points and make me some good money!!! i have warnock and skipper as back ups!!

My theory is never pick an emergency as cover in case someone else goes down.  I want my bench to make me money so I can upgrade

yes i know and im sure they will make me money. warnock and skipper will get games and are at a good price but i dont think they will score big dt scores but at there price they r the best bench players!

I think most people are going to have a combination of Warnock/Lobbe/Skipper/Roughead.  The difference between teams will be when and who they get traded for.
