I was just wondering how everyone is enjoying the luxury of 44 trades. I myself have not wasted one trade, and to think that I would only have 4 trades left is scary! Comment what your best and worst trade has been for the season. Mine has been Barlow after the first game and worst has been either blicavs for gawn or birchall at his highest price!

Yeah I was worried at the start of the year when I saw the extra trades but I'm actually enjoying deciding where to use them.

My best has probably been pittard to hibberd in that defensive carnage week where a lot of the more popular upgrade targets birch, burgoyne etc failed but hibberd scored a ton. He's been good for me ever since, apart from this week's game.

My worst like you was blicavs to gawn when he was on the bubble.

LF

I don't mind the extra trades as my team is nearly fully upgraded but there are some weeks where I haven't really wanted to use them so I cashed in some players a bit early.

Gibbs-->Hibberd was a great trade
Dwyer-->Vlastuin has worked out well even tho I could have got a few extra weeks from Dwyer
Zorko-->Leuy was working out well
Jones-->Jack

Haven't really done what I'd call a bad trade yet.

My best would be getting Kruezer in week 2
Or Dixon the week before he got injured
Or getting Birchall at $518k
Or Hartlett at $458k
Or getting in Stevie J and making him Captain the week he becomes a late withdrawal
Or getting in Daisy Thomas and getting *one* match before his LTI.

In all seriousness, probably ARmstrong to Terlich after Round 1 or Harper to JJK after Round 2 or Karnezis to Burger after Round 2

Windigo

Best trade thus far was probably Zorko->Roo for like 6K.

That was when people were trading Roo out & getting on Hoff....

Andrew

I still wish we only had 30 trades, some of my sideways trade were'nt good ones and I would'nt have been tempted with limited trades. But my best trades have been:

Toby Greene to JJK after round 1
Varcoe -> Leuenberger, before Varcoe pulled a 12
Hartlett -> Vlastuin after Vlastuin's first price rise, took guts to recorrect that mistake but been an absolute winner of a trade
Lonergan -> Barlow in round 10, Barlow looks like a top 8 mid now and more than half of the top 2000 teams have him

MGK1

Mitch Robinson to Nick Riewoldt after Robo got knocked out in round one. Was only supposed to be in my team past his easy draw. Great outcome.

Yeh 44 trades has been ok. I think I'd prefer something like 40 or 44 but be able to do 3 trades a week. Would be a good balance of flexibility and long term planning.

Best trades:
Neade --> Priddis after RD7 when he was 392k
Cotchin --> SJ after RD6 has also been pretty decent
Also Berger --> Kreuzer two weeks ago has been very profitable so far

Worst:
Westhoff --> Hartlett before he started spudding it
Also did Gibbs --> Scotland that week which was pretty crappy in hindsight

Mr.Craig

From my 20 trades this season 10 players have gone 100+ in their first week in my team (with one 99).

Best trades
Rd 3 karnezis to leunberger
Rd 9 Mayes to bartel

Worst trades
Probably both my rd 6 trades
Goodes to hartlett
Blacivs to gawn

#10
Hartlett to Heppell after Hartlett scored his second score in the 30s. I only had him for two weeks, but so glad that spud is gone.

Also deciding to hold onto the Duffman after his average first two weeks was a great move. Everyone was saying to dump him, but I kept the faith. 8)

Worst trade Gibbs-->Scotland Fyfe-->Hartlett (during defensive carnage week. Yep, both done the same week)

Best trade Stevenson--->Ablett when he was at $582k was nice, but I can't go past getting in Nicholls last week for Majak Daw.

Well this is my trade history. Made some good ones I reckon. Wore a donut and traded westhoff at his peak etc etc.
