Cotchin or Birchall??

Planning to trade out Kommer and Evans and move Goodes into mids if I get Birchall.

Backs: Goddard, Heppell, Hartlett, Terlich, Scotland, Goodes (Pittard, Staker)

Mids: GAJ, Swan, Pendles, Swallow, Watson, Priddis, O'Meara, Evans (Kommer, Lonergan)

Rucks: Cox, Kreuzer (Blicavs, Rowe)

Fwds: Stokes, Cloke, SJ, JJK, Franklin, Rockliff (Macaffer, Gray)

Cash: $30,400

Burchall still got a bit of cash to drop, if u got 18 playin this week wait another week for him

Cotchin's form has been down lately. Not sure if he'll make the top10 mids this year.

Birchall still has some cash to drop and also down on form.

If i had to choose one of them this week, it would be birchall just because he is ridiculously cheap for what he can produce and is more likely to make the top 8 defenders than cotchin is to make top10 mid.

With that lineup, I'd be looking at bringing in Cotchin.

Your defense seems to be fine for the byes and you can always get Birchall next week if needed be.

If Kommer is selected to play, you could always go something like this:

Lonergan -> Hrovat
Priddis  -> Cotchin (Unless you see Priddis as a keeper).

or:

Blicavs -> Nicholls
Evans -> Premo

And trade out Kommer after one more. Just some thoughts.

I'd like to get someone else but I only have $456,300 to play with. I agree that Birch is more chance of finishing top 8 than Cotch is of finishing top 10. Just annoying that Birch still has a high BE. Will probably go Birchall anyway because then I can afford any mid when I upgrade O'Meara next week.

Yeh I had originally planned on going Priddis to Cotchin this week but now Priddis is scoring well and I need his cover in R13 to avoid donuts. I don't mind that second trade you said but I don't wanna miss Hrovat. I could probably do Rowe to Nicholls and Evans to Hrovat and then I'd have about 250k for upgrades later. Would also leave me with pretty good cover for the byes. I'll have to think about it :-\

Double downgrade. Sounds good to me.

Just make sure not to miss out on Tom Mitchell is all, which means you will only be able to do the one upgrade next week potentially.
