Injury List:

Hayden Crozier   Groin   test
Paul Duffield   Calf   test
Clancee Pearce   Concussion   test
Nick Suban   Calf   test

Would love all 4 to come into the lineup this week

Max Duffy   Hamstring   1-2 weeks
Hayden Ballantyne   Hamstring   2 weeks
Anthony Morabito   Knee   2 weeks

Ballantyne would come straight back in when fit
Morabito won't play this year unless we make it to second round of finals i would think

Luke McPharlin   Calf   4 weeks
Sam Menegola   Knee   4 weeks

Mcpharlin going down is bad but if Silvagni can play anything like his second cousin we will be alright

Tanner Smith   Shoulder season
Jonathon Griffin   Knee   season
Kepler Bradley   Knee   season

our talls will be better next season but means that Zac Clarke will need to step up big time to provide relief
for Sandilands this year

Ricochet

From all reports Suban should be right this week

Fremantle will be saved by the draw

Of all the injuries the Dockers have weathered this year none has affected them as profoundly as Luke McPharlin's calf tear. The absence of their veteran key defender has probably been undersold in amongst the loss of higher-profile players like Matthew Pavlich, Aaron Sandilands and Hayden Ballantyne, but his is proving the most troublesome for Fremantle to cover.

Without McPharlin, the Dockers are missing their chief architect and organizer in the back six, as well as one of the game's premier shut-down defenders.

Structurally it has forced alterations down back, including a change of role for Garrick Ibbotson, cruelling Fremantle's run from defence and leaving them vulnerable against the top-line forwards.

In any other year you might expect the Dockers to fall from top-four contention but their draw is so soft from here that it will keep them afloat to September.

Fremantle take on Carlton (minus Jarrad Waite, who would have troubled them) next Saturday night,
and then face GWS, Melbourne, Port Adelaide and St Kilda on the run home.

They should win all five and pip the Swans to fourth spot on the ladder.

That said, the Dockers will probably be drawn to face the Hawks in week one and the Swans in week two,
and on current form it will be some surprise if they don't go out in straight sets.
