QuoteFREMANTLE has held onto its place inside the AFL's top four and broken a three-game losing streak against Adelaide with a gritty seven-point win at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.

This article is a disgrace - the title and opening paragraph is the only thing that is Fremantle focussed.  The rest is about how Adelaide could have won and what they should have done....etc

Great win today. I was always confident. Looking forward to getting a Pav and Walters back after the bye, and Sandi hopefully not to far away.

But thanks for winning though, I'm on the Perth wagon, i can see the premiership going to WA this season :o

We cop it over here as well from The West (AKA The Worst).  Its a flowering disgrace, write the article about the team that won.

It doesnt surprise me - it gives me the showers.  We grit out a tough win and all the media can swoon about is how Adelaide lost the game.... Freo won the game and are sitting 3rd on the ladder - give credit where its due.

Who cares...keep underestimating us journos. Pavlich, Sandilands, Walters still to come. Watch them scramble for their hindsight lenses very soon...

to break it down, it's like a 540 word write up

the first 200 words are pretty much solely on fremantle

the next 140/170 on adelaide

and the rest of it relatively even, maybe slightly adelaide leaning.

'FREMANTLE has held onto its place inside the AFL's top four and broken a three-game losing streak against Adelaide with a gritty seven-point win at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.'

'Barlow was in superb touch for Fremantle with 32 disposals, eight tackles and a goal while defender Michael Johnson (19 touches, nine marks) was sensational in defence.'

'Docker Nick Suban's second goal handed the visitors the lead 10 minutes into the second quarter.

They extended it to 11 points through Nat Fyfe'

'When Adelaide did manage to attack, Johnson and Paul Duffield were there waiting.'

'Crows coach Brenton Sanderson said his side struggled to deal with Fremantle's extreme pressure.'

'The lead was short-lived though, with Barlow then Sutcliffe sealing the game.'

the only bits that could be considered talking down freo are the quotes from lyon (which he's saying so his team doesn't get complacent) and sanderson  ("We just gifted them momentum when we shouldn

To be honest, I didn't even read the article. I just love Micky B!
