Good to see that the selectors are in charge of selection now, they can pick their best 11, whether it is the right 11 or not, and just stick with it. Even if it isn't the team that should be playing, as long as we can get some consistency into the players.

Best news I have heard for ages re: rotation policy. Was always useless. The whole Argus review was a waste of time, all of his suggestions pretty much have been turfed 18 months on  ::). These are the right steps off field, the players like and respect boof, hopefully translates into better on field performance which we will need if we're to be any chance.

This guy is a real mans man, been there done that, tough as steal open as a flower

New eara for us all, ok some rebuilding to do but, isn't that more on who to select? We know the talent is there, especially with the bowlers

Bring on the Kitty cat Lions! ;D  Let's see you tear apart Boof!

its me lads

Great news as of recent as others mentioned. No more "rotating policy" which is great for us, hopefully get the best team on the park each test, it might take a little while to find what the best team actually is but when it's found they can work together.

Boof Lehmann! I think he's the coach we need, real great aussie cricket character, probably won't set the players homework either  ;D. Has coaching experince with the big bash league and IPL, i can't wait for the Ashes!

no point changing the structure of the team if new players are not going to be introduced

Well I hope his back isn't that bad......

Cicjose

its from a twitter feed... something i give very little relevance in terms of factual accuracy
but whilst this is being suggested... seems a likely talking point if Australia is on the brink of losing again...

Dont forget Shane Warne was going to retire in 2005 but due to losing the ashes played on...
same could happen here

Test cricketers, especially  superstars and Captains don't just retire at a young 30!

Sheesh, carried away by nothing?

Let's go Boof let's go, let us at the flowering Poms! (I'm sure this is Boof's words too)

Clarke is always going to have to retire early because of his back. It's something he will never get over, and it does really seem to have deteriorated recently. Personally, I think he will retire after the World Cup.
