Tigger nominated for the Rising Star!

RICHMOND'S top draft pick Nick Vlastuin is the round seven NAB AFL Rising Star nominee.

Vlastuin collected 23 disposals, hauled in 11 marks and kicked a goal in the Tigers' important 41-point win over Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.

Great effort! He was fantastic as all the boys were on Saturday.
I think either omeara or wines are in the box seat to win it but vlas could have a crack if he plays every game with the same level he has the past 2 weeks

O'Meara the obvious frontrunner but I would say Vlas and Wines an even second.

He was just everywhere today, played loose down back and was effective when he got the ball, laid good tackles as well. Gun. Glad he's a tiger. 8)

If only they played him from round 1! Omeara still ahead IMO but vlas is mowing him down! Great year for rookies. Can see a bunch of the picks from this year being the best players in the game in 3-4 years time
