Is he considered a top 8 mid (premium) and is this the week to bring him in?

MIDs I'd rather have than Deledio:

Ablett, Pendlebury, Swan, Watson, JP Kennedy, probably Cotchin assuming that his knee injury wasn't anything that will dog him, maybe J Selwood.

Could probably make arguments for K Jack, S Mitchell, but yeah I think Deledio would have to be at least among the top 10 mids.

Absolutely, he will def be in the top ten if not top 8. Im going to get him in this week, at that price he is a steal and will prob give you a point of diff. Go for it!

He's there abouts.

Albett, pendles, swan, jp Kennedy, watson are the standouts top 6

Danger, selwood, Cotchin, deledio, michell next bracket

Murphy, jack, priddis, swallow, Thompson, sloane just behind them

GoLions

I got him last week, should finish the year in top 10 mids. Good chance to finish top 8, think he might end up better than Dangerman and Mitchell.

That seems a very good summary.id only argue Jack might be pushing into that 2nd tier. But I think Deledio could be top 8 to top 10 still a little suspect to the hard tag

thewizz

So......... I already have ablett, pendles, jpk, danger and priddis. Do I take Watson or deledio this week?

ben_020285

Hard to say whether he will be top 8 but I reckon he will be top 12.

He is great value right now. Even at round 12 he will be around the 570k mark so would be the perfect upgrade for a round 12 or 13 rookie in the mids.

Bully

One thing Lids has going for him is that he never misses a game through suspension or injury, you'd be hard pressed to find a more reliable player. So unless you've got some solid back-up, a couple of weeks out for a premo can be mega costly, Deledio is your classic set and forget.

Goolahbah

Facing same problem

Current mids:
Ablett, pendles, danger, murphy, priddis, o'meara, lucas, viney, (kommer, ben kennedy)

Downgrading stevenson to webster and wishing to upgrade lucas

Deledio leaves me with 90k

Watson with 60k

JPK with 30k

The advantage of deledio is his round 11 bye. I have hard games in my league all three rounds but don't think tanking would be that good as also going for total points in my league.

Current round 13 byes
Ablett, o'meara (might become boyd next week), pendles, danger, murphy, kommer (should be gone by then), ben kennedy

That's almost my whole midfield and turns me off watson.

JPK good but leaves me with less money

Deledio seems great but I'm not sure whether my midifield would contain enough of those "super premos"

Any ideas?

I don't think that summary is that good. He has 5 players in his standout top 6. And no mention of Ryan Griffen who should be in the 2nd tier.

MontyJnr

The top 7 mids will be Ablett, Pendles, Swan, JPK, Watson, Cotchin and Joel Selwood in my opinion. 8th spot still up for grabs, Deledio definitely one of the favourites.

TeeJay

Best thing about lids is that you know he won't miss. Hasn't missed a game since 2007
