If you had to pick one..

Looking to upgrade my defence in the coming weeks, which of these are the best long term options, obviously I plan to keep them til the end of the year, and possibly bring in multiple, just wondering is the best option. Thoughts?

They are all a bit of a punt at this stage, Id stay away from Hartlett and Birchall for now. I'd go Duffield, looks to have turned a corner and seems to be doing well with Ibbotson back. Also hasn't dropped below 70 this year so relatively consistent

birchall... only cause he is cheap... i wouldn't upgrade any def at the moment.

Grab Birchall after his round 11 bye for a round 12 or 13 rookie.

Shouldn't require to much cash for any easy bye friendly upgrade!

Thanks guys, oh yeh Birchall is on the radar for sure, but still has a few price drops as mentioned. I was thinking Birchall in a few weeks time and Waters as my last defence upgrade, as  D6.

Duffman had brilliant starts just about every game, but would constantly go missing in the 2nd half. The last 2 weeks he's carried on with those starts, and it's making me less sad about starting him over Hanley.  :)

Yeh he is a quality player. A little like Waters, can go missing, but yeh, Waters was on 71 at half time on Friday night.
