Option 2 is the front runner at the moment as it increases my points i will receive this week. Although if i take option 1, i have no Ablett but i get an extra premium and i am not sideways trading Gibbs. So in turn option 1 would help me in the long run. Thoughts ??

Option one. When in doubt always go for the option that will better you in the long run.

Gibbs will be back next week with a BE of 131 (not that much) he won't drop too far in value and you may not ever get him back in your side and even if you do it may cost you a bottomed out Birchall, Franklin, Cotchin or Watson if you don't have any of those players already. If you have all 4, that would be the only circumstance you should consider it. But other then that it'll most likely cost you in the long run by losing Gibbs or missing a bargain.

and you've already held Gibbs for a week. What would be the point of trading him now? If you wanted to oust him last week was the time to do it

Yeah in hindsight last week would of been the week but i had other things to fix up. Plus people traded him last week thinking it was going to be just the one week. I am more worried of not ever being able to get Ablett rather than not being able to get Gibbs back. I feel not having Ablett will burn me alot more than not having Gibbs

Ablett is quite easy to obtain mate :) It's Swan who's the one that people should worry about. I originally started just Swan but found room for both but ever year where I didn't start Ablett it was barely a sacrifice to bring him in. Swan required slaughtering the big guns (last year culled Hayes at his peak for Swan). You don't have to worry about Gaj he has one bad game (80-110) and he'll drop below $600k
