Who is your pick for the sub?

Looking at the Richmond vs. Geelong game and at the Richmond bench, Knights and Ellis are both on the bench?

Will Ellis dodge the vest this week and actually be a viable defence option for our problems, or is he going to end up crushing all our dreams?

Tempted to take a gamble since Knights is named in that last spot and Ellis isn't, but don't know if I can risk dropping that many points if Ellis is actually the sub. Any thoughts?

I have brought Ellis in, high risk/reward. But you gotta risk it to get the biscuit. The consulation is even if he is sub he won'tgodown in price and scores more than a donut. If he hits another 80+ he will rise in price significanty.  I'm hoping Vlaus is in green...

Yeah, my problem with him is that I would be using him as a downgrade and so if he is sub I lose a lot of points.

me 2 plus taking a donut in the backs so i can get SJ in before he explodes... not smart DTing i know, but i play for my cash league not overall (of course if i was in the top 500 i would trade differently)....

Next week i will get Ablett and/or Watson in depending on what other carnage there is and then my team will be fairly strong...

I think if he can dodge the sub this week with no Nahas in the team, he may be worth it the week after for a Pittard/Stevenson type. Even if he pumps another 80 this week he will still be less than $250k which is a bargain for a defender who sub-free could average 80-85.

Of course, it happened last week for example. But you never know, it may sway the decision slightly

I reckon Knighter should play a full game, was instrumental in a lot of forward thrusts last week

Personally l think White is a perfect super-sub with his pace, but he's named on the wing.......which is where l reckon Ellis should be playing.
IMO they should start Vlastuin and let him go flat knacker until he conks out, then sub on White and take advantage of his pace when everyone else is tired

I think I might leave Ellis be for this week, then depending on if he is sub this week and where he is named next week might bring him in because the bloke has some talent and is serious value for his price.
