I only have Gibbs and Goodes, no Heppell or Pittard so I will consider myself very lucky this week.

However, I want to get ride of Gibbs this week, we all know hamstring can linger on for much longer than expected and with a high BE he will be pretty easy to trade back in once he has a few games back under he belt.

The obvious choice was Gibbs to Heppell, but now he is also out. I already have Hartlett and Goodard, so the choice for a straight swap is not obvious, as I can afford Birchall.

So I am considering Gibbs to Ellis, very cheap, almost rookie priced, first non-sub affect game last week, looked great and pumped out an 86. Low BE of 11 could easily go up 150k or so in the next 5-6 weeks.

I fear he maybe the sub AGAIN this week though....

So, do you think Ellis will be the sub this week and if so who should I trade Gibbs to instead?

I wouldnt risk it.
Look elsewhere. Get in a Scotland, Hartlet, Birch if you dont have them. Or if you want to take some risks, Hibberd and Dixon look like good options too.

its me lads

You essentially bringing in a green vest.

Are you sure, he played a full game last week and was probably one of their best.

Nah don't go Ellis. If you were going to downgrade you would be better off getting Vlas or Saunders (providing he isn't sub) - this gets you more money and probably the same scoring output.

My plan was to trade Stevenson or Health to one of these guys next week. I don't like picking up one gamers because then you get stuck with players like Docherty, who isn't playing and didn't get one price rise!

Ricochet

The risk is way too high with Ellis mate. 4/5 games with the vest.
He could play a full game and pump out a nice score but its just not worth it

Call me mad, but l've been seriosly considering him all week.......still not sure if l have the guts to pull the trigger though

Adamant

Agree with others, I think the sub risk is too high to risk bringing him in. Look at Vlastuin or Saunders.

to be honest l'd rather bring in Wright (if not vested) this week to get his 1st price rise, then get Sauders or Vlas the following week with a better guage on how they're going
