You could trade two defenders out.

Or if you want to keep your defenders, another option is trading a mid(if you have any worth trading) to a defender, moving Gibbs/Heppell/Goodes into your mids, if that helps at all.

e.g. for me, I have Pittard/Goodes/Gibbs out, but i kinda want to keep them, so i traded Dangerfield(underperforming) to Scotland(at this stage anyway).
Then hopefully Pittard/Gibbs comes back next week.
Although won't work if you dont' have any mid cover either.

Just thought i might throw it out there, if you don't want to trade your defenders, maybe an option?

I have Bartel/Wright/Monfries (Monfries more likely) that can be traded to Scotland and Mayes into fwd line, Gibbs then traded out for Hartlett and move Goodes into midfield bench

How important is it to get rid of a rookie not playing and earning cash. Currie will be stuck on my bench if I don't bring in Gawn and can't see him playing anytime soon unless Goldstein is injured.

Thinking the cash Gawn will give me will help down the track will help with another upgrade and can't see any other rookie rucks as downgrade options coming up.

Witts??

It is an option for the next couple of weeks, i'm guessing his JS is low and similar scoring to Blicavs

Gawn JS may have improved with Clark out and look likely to score more.

Just when I was primed and ready to bring in Watson this happens. :(  I think I'm going to have to trade Gibbs to Birchall and then hold onto Goodes and Hepp.  It's extremely risky as I'll have no back EMG this week.  As for my other trade I'm not really sure what to do.  Was thinking of getting either Paparone or Kerridge in for Mac or Dwyer to earn some cash so I can bring in Watson next week (though it may be a week too late as he plays GWS this week :().
