Whats the go on Danny Stanley

Just checking in, will he be returning after the byes? Is Guy McKenna just holding him like last year?

No idea tbh power... I read an article saying that he was fit ready to play against the swans two weeks ago so I would've expected him to be in the team by now... Not sure if he simply isn't recovering well or whether there are som off-field issues going on there... ???

I think if he returns after the byes that would be best. That way the rooks will have raised price, we get two games awareness to make our choice and potential we can all get a premo super star back. He was in my forwards last year and I loved him, consistent as hell and would be an amazing back :)

he had some groin trouble which delayed his season
and now he's in the 2s, and not doing that well (by all reports - or isn't standing out at least)

i'm jumping on Dixon, scoring like the new Stanley (granted he scored 66 last game, but he was taken off at 3QT as a precaution)

As people have said got injured with a groin injury. He played NEAFL 2 weeks ago and didn't really stand out. Played NEAFL again this week and was the lowest named of the "best" from each team.

Perhaps may have done enough to break into the side this week

Hmm I'd be wary, is struggling to get up this week apparently and even if he is named may be a late admission. Looks ok though, a concern would be the increased performance of smith last week.

Totally forgot about Stanley tbh. Hopefully comes in as sub for a few games, though that may be wishfull thinking on my part
