Wish I thought of it earlier, but Berlin vs Moscow would have been a pretty good rivalry, like it was in the 1940's ::) lol

Same could be said of France I guess, but I was already PNL's rivals in the last two years

Oh and London too.

Wanna re-ignite the rivalry Ringo?  :P
Happy to is still wanting Purps - Have not been into this thread for a couple of days.

I'm happy to confirm Ringo/oz :)

There has been no player that has embodied the spirit of the New York Revolution quite like this man in 2013.
MIKE PYKE MANIA

There were fears he would go undrafted, he wasn't as fast as Cameron Ling or skilled as Matthew Boyd, and he lacked the tenacity and physicality of Jack Watts.
But still, pyronerd called out his name in the dying moments of the WXV draft. A drop of maple syrup rolled down his cheek, and he flashed a smile at R&B's (dashing) wife before marching up to the stand to receive his guernsey and meet his coaches.

What a moment, a Canadian had mad it to the big leagues! All the way from British Columbia, the cream of the Canadian crop had arrived on the WXV stage.

...But the celebrations were short lived. When Mike arrived in New York he was greeted by a media storm and a horde of angry Texans. The welcome was colder than his Canadian motherland, with accusations his selection was a 'gross attempt to pilfer the Wolves' fans'.
The Texans were mad because the American team was based in New York instead of a red state.

Pyke battled on, but ultimately he was fairly shower in 2012.

In 2013 Mike exemplified the rise of the revolution. Basically, he was less shower, but still more shower than most others.

We love you Mike. You're our favourite (don't tell the others).

Haha agreed

Heard Mike was suffering a bit of home sickness all the way down there in New York...the missus certainly is keen for him to come back, not sure exactly why that is. He always seemed to be spending a lot of time around at my house fixing the gutters while I was in at the club.

The wellington Warriors coaches award goes to the club Veteran Lenny Hayes even though he has missed quite a few matches this year and despite his age when playing he has managed to provide a consistent and solid score for the Warriors each week which most of our players have not been able to do this year.

After some very serious thought over the past few weeks, the Berlin Brewers are proud to announce their Coaches Award in..

Lachlan Henderson!

The WXV community have been informed a little early (Lachie doesn't know yet, so shh  :-X), meaning the official write-up and acknowledgement will be written EOS, when everything has settled down.

Special mentions to Matthew Stokes, Daniel Jackson and Michael Hibberd, who would all be worthy recipients as I could have easily picked any one of them.
