Hi Munyk,

My Teams has Rich as M5 i have already traded Karnezis to Dwyer
Shall i also trade out Rich and should i look at a premium such as Watson or go for someone like Barlow or Fyfe and have cash remaining.
My 4 other premiums are Ablett Pendlebury,Kennedy,Selwood
After the Dwyer trade will have 196,000
Unless you have faith in Rich finding form i would be getting another premo in there.

Makita - Personally would not go near either. Both will be as good as each other i think, nothing special. Would like to see how Watts hits back in coming weeks but set for big price drop this week. Broughton might average more come seasons end runnning in the middle. Broughton is the safer bet of those two, i think...
If your looking to trade in one of them two, i wouldn't go there. If you already have one or both would trade Watts this week (price about to drop) and see how Broughton goes V Brisbane, then decide to keep or trade as well.

cheers munyk, will take that on board, these two guys r for my draft league so the crop to choose from is pretty thin. wouldn't touch them in normal super. cheer for u.

I want to trade out Karny but who for? JJK or Monfries...

JJK:
Pros
- cheaper, WCE likely to win more games
Cons - LeCras to come back, injuries in mid affecting delivering into the forward line, plays a key FWD role which has it's ups and downs

Monfries:
Pros - DPP, more MID time compared to when he played for Essendon, have a gut feeling he'll semi break out in a new team (ave:105) and could be a FWD keeper
Cons - Port only played easy teams to date and likely to lose more than they win

Munyk

Really good one timtim.
Got to get Karnezis out now that hes been dropped. As you pointed out before the pros and cons of each player, and also with Naitanui returning soon Cox will also be mostly a forward as well as Lecras. But then Monfries has played the two worst teams. Very touch and go but i think with Lecras and Naitanui coming back will lower the scores of JJK. I'm probably leaning towards Monfries here although he costs more.

Used 1 trade week 1, 2 trades week 2, going from Karnezis to Bartel (lots of money in the bank) this week. So 28 trades left.

Most of my side is in good shape, but I have Docherty from Melbourne on the bench in defense (I know, we all make mistakes). My current defense:

Goddard, Gibbs, Duffield, Goodes, Pittard, Stevenson (Docherty, Terlich)

If I trade out Docherty I have $343,500 - not enough for Dixon, who I would've liked to grab. What to do?
-Save the trade for another time?
-Trade out Docherty for a mid-priced defender? (if so, who?)
-Go for the cash grab and trade out Docherty for Heath?

I don't think you need to trade Docherty unless you really want to. IF you wanted to trade would go to Heath but don't think you need to get rid of Docherty. Hopefully he gets a chance soon :)
Save remaining money for when you need it.

I have karnezis and can't afford Kennedy unless i do a downgrade.

i dont think i can miss out on kennedy, so these are my under performing premiums i could trade:

duffield
wright
roughy
priddis
mundy

i really dont want to trade any of them so im thinking mcevoy/goldy for berger to turn a sideways trade into a positive.

thoughts? thank you for any advise!!!

If you really want Kennedy you could go Goldy -> Leuenberger. They should score about the same but Leuey costs much less! Otherwise theres options like Duffield to heppell, Roughy to Rioli/Bartel/SJ etc (this might be the way to go especcially if Max Bailey keeps his spot in the Hawks lineup).
Would go either - Goldy -> Leuenberger
Or - Roughead -> Downgrade of your choice.

rightio Munyk.. what's ya thoughts..

Karneszis in or out.. Have Dywer/JKK/Rowe/Neade so all options covered there.. If I want Monfries, it will take 2 trades prob have to downgrade Stevens to Crouch.. have bench cover so it's not a donut.. or do i keep him in and hope he comes good?

other thought is Zorko.. bitterely disappointed in him so far and now not convinced he's a top 6-8 FWD option as he is playing more half fwd. My potential trade in is Rockliff who i had most of the pre-season and who is playing well in defence and midfield in a roaming role.. Hold or Trade Zorko, will he come good, or is he going to annoy me for the rest of the season?

cheers man

Hey Munyk,

Cash avail: $203,700

Looking to get rid of Karney also, people I'm considering:
- Petterd
- Christensen
- Trade back to Le Cras (had him originally)
- Downgrade to Dwyer

Current forwards: Cox, Bartel, Martin, Siposs, Kennedy, Macaffer (Neade, Karnezis)

Wait a few weeks for a fallen prem - IE - Super Pav or Buddy Love?

Trade Karnezis - been dropped this week. Hold Zorko. Karnezis must be turned into a premium because your forward line is just too weak. I would downgrade a premium or a mid-pricer in particular from your midfield or defence to a rookie about to boom in price.

Great strength forward line so would probably downgrade to Dwyer. This will leave you with about $375K to upgrade.
