Well im a port supporter and ive traded out mitchell,
1 because i think he will get the vest when he playes
and 2 because i dont see him playing that much unless injuries... he will be out round 2 for robbie gray

you don't draft a mature age rookie as good as mitch, elevate him off the rookie list and then dump him,

unless form warrants. Graysfan, you don't think that neade might get the vest, 18 yo and 67kg ???

Mitchell hasn't been upgraded though, he's just covering for Nick Salter on the long-term injury list. And he's listed at being fit again for round 2. Gray isn't even on the injury list so unfortunately the Port supporter has a good point. I've just ditched Mitchell for Viney and managed to use the cash to squeeze Craig Bird into my forward line. Will do trades after round 1 most likely, but I will bring in the rookies I'm certain will start and make cash, instead of starting with a bunch of them scoring 20-40...

THANK YOU for helping me have a rare win with 50/50 calls. Whether or not you are Port's number 1 fan (I didn't know there was more than 1 to be honest ;)), you reminded me of one or two things about Mitchell's situation that when put in comparison to other rookies, didn't stack up favourably for him. NAB Cup form can blind you with rookies but I don't even think I'll pick him up at all now, when he was on the field in my team 30 minutes out from lockout. Cheers!
