just logged on and cant belive ther is not a bit of chat about him. Looked good tonight and will hold his spot, scored 70 for bottom priced rookie what more can you ask for

Yeah I'm happy with him. I chucked him in my team 5 mins before lockout and watched his game with interest. He was good and more importantly he was good enough to keep his spot. He pressures, brings plenty of energy and a goal in the last quarter was the icing on the cake to secure his spot IMO. Wish he was a forward.. Stupid that he's not really

mate if he was foward everyone would have him. The young man from what I saw knew his limit at this stage in his career, didnt take people on when he didnt have too, backed into contests, very happy with the crouch out kommer in

Looked to hand off a fair bit but lots of one percenters, defensive pressure and looks like he'll kick a few and get a few goal assists.

Looks like the effort was there and he listened to how they wanted him to play which should give us a nice cash cow!

Had a good game and I'm glad for him that he did, did you see his family when he kicked that goal? They were over the moon.

But I'm not convinced yet, if he's still in the side when he's on the bubble, I'll get him then.

Don't know if you saw him in the leadup NAB games, but he certainly put the writing on the wall then.  He's super quick, enthusiatic, and seems to have a good footy brain with the right instincts.  I  think he'll turn into an excellent cash cow, barring the unforeseen, of course.

He will be. The only ones that can realistically take his spot are Jetta and Browne and after an impressive pre-season and a good debut I'd say it will take a string of bad games for him to be dropped. Essington has been waiting for a player of his ilk in the forward line for a couple of seasons now.

he'd still be in next week I'd think- honestly I'm surprised his score was that low, he seemed to be constantly amongst it.

Happy I traded him in at the last minute too.
Didn't see/hear last night's game but nice to read that he did well and should hold his spot as well.
