Oh here we go again. Every year there is at least 1 topic per round bagging the scoring system. If you do not like it then don't play.

I thought Otten played a solid game...

Well i watched it and there were a heap of players i thought haf more impact than him. Yet he outscores them.
If you think he played well. Tell me a moment where he made a difference.

You have to undertstand the scoring system

It's not like DT where the players receive a static score based on their stats from the game.

SC differs considerably from that scoring model:

There's only a total pool of 3300 points in each game to allot to each player as their score.

Disposal efficiency effects scoring e.g. a player with a higher efficiency % will score higher than someone with poor efficiency but had more disposals.

Scores are weighted depending on the circumstances at the time they received their score e.g. if the game is on the line a player
would get more points for a game saving tackle/goal/mark than they would if it's a blow out or in junk time.
