Yeh, Rucks are worrying.  I don't mind the idea of a rookie at R2 but if that's done then you need Cox and Rowe to be interchangable between F and R in my opinion.

Unless ur absolutley sold on Watts and/or want to move him fwd then I would go Watts,Russell > Shaw/Duffield and a rookie.

I would get Cox over Buddy to start cos of ur ruck situation (u can swing Cox into ruck).

Also fwds a bit exposed so put Zorko fwd, get another rookie mid instead of Kerridge they will score more and make more money. Plus Macaffer can go to bench as back up. Not sure he is always in best 22.

11/5/6 - keepers/mids/rookies.

Prefer 12 to 13 / 4 / fewer than 6.

I think getting high priced mids is risky because usually you get what you pay for. eg Watts - can't see him really threatening the likes of Goddard, Gibbs, Shaw, Bircahll, Hanley, Hartlett, Duffield, Scotland, Waters - or even Heppell, Grimes, Broughton.

So he won't be in the best teams which means you'll have to trade him out and you'll have saved nothing - unless you really think he's going places.

Only using 4 mid rookies could leave you short of cash compared to other teams.

A lack of forwards, and a glut of good mids, means guys like Zorko should start forward.

Cox too.

Your rucks are scary.

LeCras awkward in price.

Still time to reconsider.

Too many Brisbane players for my liking, not all will score decent each week... and you will rely on Brisbane too much..!!!

also i think Shaw is a little overpriced for my liking, would swap him for Duff/Taylor/Harlett and use the extra cash elsewhere...

Better IMO.

Only 2 issues this time.

Adding Shaw to Goddard and Gibbs gives you all 3 out in round 13. There are cheaper options who don't share R13 eg Hartlett and Duffield. One of these guys make a great option for D3 until after R13 when you can get Shaw if he is OK. Also Waters will be a top scorer, but has had an interrupted pre season. Your defence could be a bit strong at the expense of your rucks.

Rucks look scratchy. If Leuenberger plays, he is a good option for R2. I wouldn't trust your R2 - R4 at this stage.

Good luck and if you think Zorko and Rocky will do well, then get them.

NOT TO WORRIED ABOUT BYES AT THIS STAGE BEING THAT WE HAVE 30 TRADES AND THAT RD 11-13 ARE SO FAR AWAY AND ALOT COULD HAPPEN IT THAT TIME WITH PLAYER INJURIES AND SUSPENSIONS I KNOW ALOT OF LIONS PLAYERS IN FWD LINE BUT I REALLY THINK THERE THE BEST PLAYERS AVAILABLE HAD VARCOE INSTEAD OF PATRICK K BUT DONT THINK HE WILL SCORE AS WELL MIGHT LOOK AT A FEW CHANGES JUST GETTING CLOSE AND TRYING TO GET RIGHT FOR THE START OF SEASON ONLY REALLY NEED 4 TEAMS SET FOR THIS WEEK.

I think Shaw to a Rookie... i.e. Vlastuin. Then upgrade one of the rucks.
Make money and trade into shaw later on if his worth it.
