Hmm McEvoy in for a big year but don't think it's really worth it... I really think Deledio or Watson are perfectly good replacements for Boydy, should both average between 110-115 imo..
What about Ablett though. If I bring in Watson or Lids they are good but they are upgrade targets. If I'm replacing my M2 I want to be getting someone worth more and it also removes the hassle of trying to bring him in later

If you don't have Ablett, then definitely get him in for Boyd.

Gold Coast simply cant afford to play Ablett for longer periods up forward. It won't happen.

haha okay that was my only concern. Should I drop Maric to Roughead or McEvoy. In your opinion which is the better ruck of the two?

Toga

McEvoy the better of those two imo...

I'm a massive fan of McEvoy and reckon he'll push the 90-95 mark this year. He averaged 92 from round 10 onwards (after having the knee operation) and he should kill it early with the Saints easy draw. He's also extremely consistent (which is something I value highly).

Pardon the ignorance, but wouldn't it be better to swap Boyd to a gun like Beams who will be in your best 8 at the end of the year? Lids is good but will he be one of the best 8 midfielders? Not saying he's a bad option but i'm surprised at the huge amont of people bringing him in. The only downside to Beams for me is having him with Swan and Pendles, what's the chances of all 3 of them firing in the one game?

Beams and Lids will both be top 8 mids by end of season imo. :)

Haha ignore my comment about the rookie, I was originally Boyd->Wines but now I've gone Boyd -> Ablett

Gone Buger tp Rowe and play Blicavs if named along side Maric at R2 with the Cox Rowe DPP which freed up enough coin to swap Boyd to Ablett

Not a bad result two birds with one stone, was going to have to sort out the ruck situation at some point
Maric - Blicavs/Currie/Rowe(DPP Cox) isn't ideal but it's what we're left with now Burgers ruled out - Hopefully one of them can maintain reasonable JS until Burger comes back and performs

I just don't want to go Beams before the bye because I have Swan and Pendles
