True. I thought it was important to highlight that this strategy ruins the ruck DPP link though, as its something thats easy to overlook and alot of people have it set up.

You still need Rowe on ruck bench if you want ability to move Cox into ruck after rd 1 which is really the only reason anyone has picked Rowe anyway.

Thinking the same myself. I don't think so, from memory I know the trade button disappears in split rounds but can't remember if the substitute button does.

Cox will be locked in forward line if that is where you play him on Saturday.  Will not be able to move him.

If leuenberger isn't named for his game in the following week, i'll still keep him and play blicavs on the field, as JJK (my preferred alternative to berger) and Cox will already be locked having played their games. If berger then doesn't get named for his round 2 game, ill sideways to JJK and move Cox to rucks.

I think Geelong are waiting on Vardy and West because they were only a week or so away from returning from injury. The Sunday game doesn't help either.
