Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are around Bellchambers? starting to here a lot of talk around the man, just wondering why? Predicted average for the man?...i currently have McEvoy & Jacobs, is it worth Getting Bellchambers in for McEvoy and spending some coin elsewhere?

McEvoy and Sauce are safe. If i had the money i would get them both. Bellchambers is cheaper, and is value, but wont get near those 2. It all depends how well you can spend the extra money.

I dont get the big Hype on Bellchambers either to be honest. Dont see how this season will be any different to previous seasons.

Showed some good signs last season and has gone past Hille as preferred ruck with Ryder

no1 ruck is Bellchambers this yr and he will spend 70% there and the other 30 fwd... reverse that and thats where Ryder is

sure, but it's not like bell has changed clubs like maric, or even changed roles. so he's gonna have to have better than a good preseason for me to take him seriously.

Quite simply when Bellchambers was the main ruck, he scored well. When he wasn't, he scored badly. This year, Hird and co finally figured out what to do with Ryder which frees up the ruck spot for Bellchambers. This is where he'll play for most of each game for every game he plays this year.

If you just look at games where Bellchambers rucked the whole thing, his average goes up to 95. In that, there were six scores over 100 out of those 12 games. That average includes a 44 point shocker against Carlton in rd 20.

In summary, Bellchambers won't be a top ruckman obviously, but he will earn cash. Personally I considered him as an alternative to Leuey and I think most people who have him are thinking along those lines too.
