Hi guys,

Anyone else nervous with little smurf getting captaincy, does this mean he will have to focus more on everyones elses game and not on his own's performance and also meaning more attention from other teams, just like how Judd was dominating in at the Eagles then came to Blues got Captaincy and was irrelevant in Dream team becasue he wasnt scoring much anymore??

Whats everyones thoughts now!

Ziplock

Judd was never DT relevant...

in fact, his last year of the eagles and first year at the blues he averaged exactly the same (85)

LF

Judd was more of a supercoach player than a DT player.

Don't think guys getting named captain will affect me at all tbh... I'm still jumping on Cotch and strongly considering murphy...

Look at Grimes ;D  Mick is a legend, he wouldn't name him Captain if it was going to affect his star players onfield performances

I dont think Mick is gonna put him captain for individual results, instead of lifting himself for games before, now he has to worry about every other individual player in his team, plus all the media, teams performance will dampen his output!

hmm i think i will stay clear of him this year and if he does fire up and score big i will straight swap him in but to me he may be very risky this year to start with! just my 2 cents

Hmm looks like i was right LOTS AND LOTS of attention

I don't think it will affect him at all. If anything I think it could be a good thing. Mate a bit more pressure on him to stand up when he cops a tag.
