Obviously because we have no fwd rookies i am loading up in the fwds ( although Ben Kennedy might get a gig early due to collingwoods injuries anyone?) hence the expensive bench. Obviously Patton is a young kpp so normally I would stay away but he has solid js, is fit, will avoid the vest and should increase in price. knights has various questions about js, risk of vesting but should've more consistent scorer if he plays. Thoughts?

what's your whole fwd line?

i'm rocking Zorko, Rocky, St. Nick (only for the first few rounds), Dusty, Karnezis and Byrnes with Patton and Macaffer on the bench

yeah it looks pretty good, l've been tossing up whether or not to include Patton ......but l'm turning off Byrnes, he just doesnt seem to have done alot

*the problem is that Varcoe hasnt been setting the world on fire and Knights hasnt been playing

Bit hard to choose hard to trust a KPP especially a young one but he will be capable of playing 22 games if he is fit cant say the same about Knights.

A lot of money on the pine maybe drop one down to a rookie and use the 70-100k elsewhere there are a few rookies that will play early.

Yep agree. I would look at Rowe, Lee, Kerridge, Dwyer over Patton purely based on price and the fact he is a key position forward in a bottom 4 side. He has greater JS than these guys but will struggle to consistently score enough to give you a nice price rise.

Knights is again a no show for Richmond's Trial Game this weekend - not sure whether it's because of injury or whether he's just being managed, but he's making me nervous and won't be in my side now.

Patton is currently sitting at F6 for me... I know he will be inconsistent but I feel more comfortable having both him and Macaffer in contention for my last forward spot than just having Caff there with no sure back-up..

If Benny Kennedy sneaks a few games early, I reckon I might go Patton -> Kennedy and use the 80K elsewhere.

patton > byrnes or knights. cheaper. reckon they will average similiar and he has top job security.

For those wondering where Chris Knights has been this pre season, I found this in the Herald Sun website
QuoteChris Knights and Dylan Grimes, who have had injury-interrupted pre-seasons, are expected to get at least a half in Coburg's VFL match against Weribee on Sunday.
Should be good for round one.
