Not sure which combo would be best.  I can't afford to go for the set and forget as I'm happy with my other line structures so this is the line I'm compromising a bit on.  There are two possible structures.

Option 1 is the 1 & 3 structure.  With this structure I can afford Maric who is the best fit ruckman available with the exception of Cox who is in my forward line.  However unlike the last few years there aren't two or three rookie ruckman in line fore decent game time and none in line for number 1 ruckman so there is the risk here that I could cop a donut or that I don't have a decent enough cash cow.

Option 2 is two mid prices and 2 rookies.  The two mid pricers are Bellchambers and Jenkins.  The upside is that they will be easier to upgrade and should both play.  It is possible that one of them will become a keeper.  The downside is that neither of these guys are a premium ruck and may never be.

Which option do you think?

Sorry but I don't like 1 or 2 , 1 because of possible donut  2 well Jenkins will play but how much Mckernan could steal his thunder . I am doing set and forget ,no ruckman in forward line and will use 2 trades at bye time to fix any shortfall. I hope all these people going in with cheap rucks in the 1 or 2 positions are leaving plenty of money in the bank to fix it if it does not work , otherwise they will be trading out guns in other positions to get out of trouble.

yeah i think you've either gotta go a set and forget or one premo and one mid-pricer/gamble.......i dont think 2 mid-pricers or gun/rookie will work this year

After much stuffing around with my team I decided to go set and forget with more proven rather than risk a rookie or someone like Smith or Jenkins.I decided it was safer to go this way rather than rely on rookies getting games and the mid pricers getting good scores.

AHHH! The rucks are rucking my whole team up. I can't work out these new ruck rules and who will benefit. Sandilands is injured Nic Nat ditto, Cox is a fwd. Don't trust McEvoy or Ryder. Maric expensive and only 1 good season. HMac is injured. Goldstein being shown up by Currie. Leuenberger stuffing us all around. Mumford underdone. Zac Smith is popular but doesn't look too good ATM after getting smashed by Pyke. Jenkins battles Graham and Mckernan for 2nd ruck duties.

Jamar?

BTW I vote 1 if Currie plays that's similar to what I'll do.

With luenberger dominating in the hit out he had over the weekend surely that throws more headaches into the mix lol I'm gonna pick luenberger in my side if named but I have voted option 1

I don't really like either line but if I had to pick one it would be the first. Maric guarantees you a good score as much as can be done in SC, while in having Currie and Daw one of them should probably play at North, and you have the Rowe/Cox switch available if they both don't. So I don't think a donut will happen, but maybe a lack of cash cows - also relies on a fwd bench player if the Rowe swap happens.

2nd line is just too risky, Maric alone could score the same as Bellchambers and Jenkins together and I don't see either becoming a keeper or making money, thus there's no point to it...
