Byrnes- Any Good?????

Anyone know how shannon Byrnes pre season has gone and weather he is worth his price tag

i know he was elevated to the leadership group which to me indicated good job security but im interested in what everyone else thinks

surely he has to score more than when at geelong. he will play 4 quarters no doubt about that and they will kick to him more.

ave about45-50 at geelong
hope can get up to 65-80 , have few burst in midfield
is he a cash cow will he make you 150 g ?  if he ave extra 20 points

Has pretty good job security, but has never been a good scorer, and isn't about to become one, not worth getting him.

His preseason hasn't been terrific but has really good JS and won't cop any vests. Will he score well?? Not massively, but with the severe lack if forward options this year he's a good option. A few good midpriced forwards going around so depends on ur structure and preference, JJK, Varcoe, Petterd, Karnesis, Knights and co. I think he'll average around the 70 mark and possibly push 80 (but could well push 60)

He's 230k, but he'll score no better than a rookie-priced player in my opinion. May be forced to pick if Lee and Neade don't crack the round 1 teams.

There is a snowflake's chance in hell that I would be considerintg him if there were any decent fwd rookies around.

BUT, since there aren't any decent forward rookies around, consider him considered!

Scraping the barrel though.
