My ruck set-up was  Maric, Leuey, Currie/Daw, Rowe ......with Coxy as insurance up forward

But now with Leuey's injury l've changed my thinking (a few times)

l was going to play Griffin/Zac Clark, but that changed with the reports about Sandi's possible rnd2 return (which l doubt)

So now l'm thinking of going with Belly/Zac Clark  (l think both of these guys will go up in price) with a view of trading them to the best premo ruck (who's handling the new rules well) and Leuey when (if) he starts scoring well. I'm hoping him and Sandi are eased back with some vested games, and both go down in value, if they do the premo ruck might wait until Sandi breaks down again.

*bench is the same.....Currie/Daw, Rowe....with fwd link to big Coxy

The weekend will bring you some answers mate.
Cox up front & with 2 trades a week, worth a risk with R2 imo.

After many different scenarios and advice from others I definately think a Longer Cox partnership will work well and please all who have it.

Could you put Cox back in at R1 with Maric? Then you can put Varcoe, Byrnes, Karnezis in your forwards. All should average more than Z.Clarke

Yeah I agree with Ric, that's my plan atm - I think any of the fwd mid-pricers are more likely to score well than the ruck cheapies like Longer, Zac Smith etc.

Varcoe averaging 58/100min
Byrnes averaging 46/100min
karnezis averaging 124/100min
Clark averaging 64/100min

Based on NAB, only Karnezis is averaging more but even better is Zac Smith averaging 85 if looking for a leuy replacement.

I'm keeping Cox up front with Smith taking R2 spot. R1 will be McEvoy who is just holding the spot until Sandi returns in round 2 (fingers crossed). If Smith fails, then move Cox in and the Cox/Sandi pairing should be the best for the year if Sandi stays fit.
